If you need help with transport to a medical appointment, please call us on the telephone number above.
The phone line is available from 9.30am – 4.30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (except bank holidays). At all other times, or if our Co-ordinator is busy with another call, please leave a message on the telephone answering machine.
Please note, our service is dependent on driver availability, and we may need to prioritise the most vulnerable in our community.
Volunteering
Bradford on Avon & District Link Scheme is always looking for people to support our service as a volunteer. Volunteering is a great way to stay active, meet new people and help vulnerable and isolated residents in your community. Volunteering roles* include drivers, Co-ordinators and committee members.
Following an interview and DBS check, new volunteers are issued with a driver’s information pack, an identification badge and and a “Hospital Car” card. We will also reimburse volunteer drivers for mileage and other out-of-pocket expenses.
For more information and an informal chat, please get in touch with us by telephone on 07957 367124.
You can also complete a Volunteer Enquiry Form on our website.
*Please note, all prospective volunteers will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
